Annual Increase in Compensation Limits

The firm's Head of Employment and Partner Alan Lewis has confirmed the annual increase in Compensation Limits. The following key increases for unfair dismissal compensation and redundancy are:-

  • a week's pay (basic award / redundancy payment) - from £310 to £330
  • maximum compensatory award - from £60,600 to £63,000

The new limits apply to dismissals occurring on or after 1st February 2008.
