The pitfalls for employers under discrimination law have expanded in the last couple of years or so. Sex, race and disability legislation has been followed with newer areas of protection for employees on the grounds of age, religion/religious belief and sexual orientation. We take a look at some of the issues raised by the new legislation and developing case law, as well as some of the practical steps businesses should be taking to protect themselves.
